This student (now a graduate working at Lucasfilm) did have some visual art training before VFS, but the skills shown in this reel were all learned at VFS. You don’t need to come to VFS with previous 3D training. (Not that it can hurt!)
Man, VFS is just cranking out the talent. Probably because of how many movies and televisions shows are filmed in Canada. Must be a ton of demand for talented local artists.
OK, Thank you

Does somebody if he learned all this at VFS or do you have to go with some level of experience ?
whats the program?
Cool VFX. Take a look at my You Tube page to see VFX from other independent film makers.
i love taking the everyday streets and dramatically transforming them in such a way. well done! also magical job on the details.
thats so fucking amazing. prolly the best ive seen
The work made on the street is awesome !!!!!! Fucking incredible !
how is this about venom fang x?
holy shit that intro was fucking awesome =D
i read in a comment under another video of theirs, they replied to a comment and said they get 6 months
I guess you’re right. Thinking about it a year is a long time!
nahh it can’t be, im doing the a similar project, it has to be 1 minute long and we only have 3 months to do it, if they get a year, they’re lucky
Its a year long program so I’m guessing they would work on their showreel the entire year (preproduction/post included)
Man, just great!
