I tried out some 3D games on the PS3 for the first time and I tell you what my experience was like.

Classic Game Room HD reviews BANG GUNSHIP ELITE for Sega Dreamcast from 2000. This 3D arcade style space ship flight action game was ahead of its time in the year 2000 but suffers from the limitations posed by the awkward Sega Dreamcast controller. You really need three hands to play this game properly because of the need to use the d-pad and analog stick at the same time. Regardless, Bang! Gunship Elite from Red Storm and Ubisoft can still be enjoyed today because of its low price and solid production values. While the game falls short of its potential and has been outdone by competing products in the decade after its release, Bang! Gunship Elite shows the power of the Sega Dreamcast which had a catalog of awesome looking games like this prior to the release of the Playstation 2. This CGR review of Bang! (Episode 1) This is the first episode of this new monthly series that I’m doing. That is Video Game Genre because we have SO many video games put in a category where they have a lot of similarities and should not be ignored. The first episode of Video Game Genre is my favorite genre in gaming; 3D Platformers/Platform Games. 1) This is where I first discuss about the brief history from where the genre originated and was created for what it is today. 2) What every 3D Platformer has in common that made it a 3D Platformer. 3) Mention the pro & cons 4) And talk about my overall opinion of 3D Platformers, or Platform games in genreal. For those who waited for this video, sorry for the delay, but this video took me an entire week to do so if I miss anything, don’t bother to mention it. I’ll be doing more of video game genres videos in the coming future, not a weekly thing, but rather wait for a new episode of this series for a month or two. Hey, maybe while I’m at it, maybe I can do some reviews on the games that are in this video that I haven’t already done yet. =) So if you liked this video give it a thumbs up and share this video to someone who likes Platformers or someone who hasn’t got into it yet. Maybe in the future, we would have just as many 3D Platformers like in the 90’s & early 2000’s. =)

Game was developed as a 3 month collage project in a group with 3 members. Programing language is c++ in a MFC environment. Next step is upgrade to full 3D game with DirectX or OpenGL. We was forced to use MFC for rendering purposes, but yet we all love c++, and so is the next step witch is more important to develop our skills. Features: User can easily create his own map. We developed our own engine with simple physics. Car is sensitive to terrain, and obstacles. Car can shoot, lay mines or get health packs. Artificial intelligence is based on genetics algorithms and can teach her self to drive best possible way in a player drawn map. Game can also be played in multiplayer mode up to 8 players. One of cool features in game is option to guide your car with laser. With projector you display your map on the wall, with camera you capture projected screen and then you point laser at the map, and car will follow the red dot. Remember. This is only a school project and not fully grown game. Game is proof that, if you have desire and will to program with basic programing knowledge you can create amazing games. Even in MFC, .. This is my first video after a long layoff! go to www.onlineboxing.net for the game its in its beta stage at the moment This game is hard to get into but with a few minutes of learning and editing the controls, you will sorta enjoy it, besides from playing online you can practice your skills against the computer (like i did here) from as far as i know right now you can only play as these two fighters in multiplayer.
