I think we all look for our parents and our parent’s love our whole lives. I watched this a few times over the past few months, and it never fails to move me and make me cry.
I think that she discovered the boat there because she knew she was going to die and just had to find out where her father was. Her sleeping there was a symbol that she died in the very same boat she discovered (her father’s) And she died in her sleep….only to reawaken in the afterlife to greet her father as she knew him…at the age see last saw him……what a poetic end!!!!!
so lovely. But i wonder why her father left in the first place. would someone please explain?
